I'd like now to move the files to my external hard drive without breaking the link and contribute to further sharing upload of these files. After which, Transmission takes care of moving torrents. I won't go trough torrents and manage to move-out-of-way the "done" torrents. Thanks if you decide to include such a option in future version. This way you have the ability to have 3 unique folders of different states: downloading, seeding, and done.
This would be especially helpful for those of us that archive onto a different machine than we download from. I have a NAS that I like to archive my downloads on. Problem is, I don't want to seed off the NAS. I'd also like some sort of alert that seeding was complete, an audible alarm is not always appropriate for something that can take days! If you want to be able to access Transmission remotely uncheck Only allow these IP addresses. Now click Open web client to open the web interface. You should now exit Transmission completely using the File Menu and choosing Exit, then reload it. If you just reboot with Transmission open the change won't stick for some reason. I found exiting completely, not just minimizing it to the system tray, and rebooting makes the new download settings stick. If thats not what you're asking then my answer is: teeny tiny hard drive.
